10 Best Small Businesses in Matsu Valley

Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday, with the way Covid-19 has struck many businesses – I wanted to spotlight 10 of my favorite (and a bonus business too) small businesses in the MatSu Valley that I encourage you to support. Go grab yourself or a family member a gift card, give them a like or follow on social media – share their posts! Everything counts to these local businesses!

1. Heather at Raven Hair Studio – I have been seeing Heather since forever. She does amazing extensions, well amazing everything. Book online by following this link! Be sure to drop a follow on her Instagram as well.
2. Hair by Jyllian – My daughter does amazing hair! Give her a follow and check her out if you are need of a stylist.
3. Perkup Espresso – If you want the perfect cup of coffee or a refreshing lotus drink, this is your spot! Give them a like or follow as they are always dropping deals and fun things on the daily!
4. Screaming Eagle Archery – I really don’t need to say more. Right? If you’ve read my bio you know how I feel about it! You probably know the name as the sponsor so many youth organizations/teams here in the valley. A great spot to look for a Christmas gift…I wear a size I’ll take one of each. Check out their Instagram too!
5. Tier 1 Veterinary Medical Center – their new(ish) building is beautiful It’s not only locally owned and operated but Veteran Owned and Operated as well! They too have an Instagram to follow.
6. Palmer Alehouse – Delicious food, drinks and phenomenal atmosphere. Summer you will find everybody here and honestly it’s one of the best places to be! Give them a like and follow and maybe purchase a gift card for a night out for yourself or family member!
7. Innergy – I can’t rave enough about this place and Jordan. She’s changed my life and I look forward to every morning I spend with her. If you’ve got fitness goals – this is your place. Follow Innergy on Instagram as well!
8. Revive Aesthetics & Spa – Owned by a total boss babe with big dreams and goals. It’s an incredible place and who wouldn’t love a spa day for a Christmas gift? Their Instagram is gorgeous too!
9. Fireweed Esthetics – If you want your lashes done and trust me you do, if not my assistant would love that as a Christmas gift – this is where I go. I can’t refer them enough! You can check out all the lovely lashes on Instagram!
10. Signature Real Estate Alaska – I work at this brokerage, but to be fair it's the best brokerage in the state! If you are interested in becoming a real estate agent -- stop by and talk to Devon!
